The position of the Health and Wellness Coordinator will coordinate health services including health education and prevention in the emergency shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. Provide health history and treatment planning, screenings and physical health assessments, referrals and crisis intervention. Serve as a resident advocate and a link between the health and wellness clinic and the University of Akron’s Center for Nursing, Akron General Medical Center and other health care resources within the community.
