WHAT TO EXPECT​ 

• Head to the Student Center (2121 Euclid Avenue) and/or Berkman Hall anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM. Most students make a plan to come in and out as their class schedules allow. We recommend attending well before 2 PM to give yourself enough time to connect with employers! Advance registration is encouraged, but not required--walk-ins are more than welcome!

• Employer tables will be located in Berkman Hall (1st Floor) and in the Student Center (1st Floor Atrium, 2nd Floor, 3rd Floor Lounge and Ballroom). Make sure you check out our Fair Map before the event to see where each employer will be located!

• This is an all-inclusive event for the entire CSU campus and beyond, first-year students through graduate students and alumni--meaning EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.

HOW TO PREPARE

• Register on Handshake before the fair to:

  • Receive helpful information, so you feel prepared and confident heading into the fair.

  • ​Learn more about the participating employers and determine who you'd like to prioritize meeting with.

• Schedule an appointment with one of our Career Coaches before or after the event.

• Update your LinkedIn and Handshake profile pictures using the CSU Headshot Photo Booth.

TIPS FOR THE DAY OF THE FAIR

• Dress to impress! Wear professional attire and bring a dark, plain folder to hold your resumes. Visit our Pinterest for more ideas.

• Make a list of questions for each employer. And don't rule out networking with companies just because they are recruiting outside of your field!

• We recommend connecting with our Marquee sponsors, Cleveland Guardians and First Energy. They will be located in the lounge outside of the Glasscock Ballroom on the third floor.

• Use your elevator pitch to introduce your skills and interests. Put your research to good use by asking thoughtful questions.

• BRING EXTRA COPIES OF YOUR RESUME! If you're interested in the company, submit an online application before the fair and follow up during the event.
